Show 56 has been thrown into the cassette deck and is ready to play! However, this week, things are a bit different!

If you listened to DeckConstruct in 2007 or 2008 (or have listened to the archives), you might remember that Dan used to co-host the show with me. Well, a couple of months ago he told me via email that he’d be stopping by in London on his way to New York City in February. I suggested that we could get together and record a one-off show together. So, a couple of days ago, we did!

In the first half of the show, Dan and I have a catchup and a good natter about Standard. In the second half, Dan talks about MTG in Malaysia and why Wizards needs to pay more attention to that part of the world!

Email Line 1 is open as always at show@deckconstruct.com for any feedback you might have which, as always, is much appreciated. You’ll also find DC, as always, on the social bastions known as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Flickr. The DC forums are also open for discussion of Magic, life and everything.

Thanks for listening!

From a chilly London, show 44 is now online!

This week kicks off with a look at a new-ish deckbuilding format where you build a deck according to a set points structure. The point is to equalise decks among a group and encourage crafty deckbuilding.

In the second half, I look at the Standard portion of the recent SCG 5k weekend in Philadelphia, including my favourite Standard deck right now.

Your comments are very much appreciated at show@deckconstruct.com. Also, find DC on the social network bastions known as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Vimeo. Finally, our forums are a great way to get involved with a new MTG community.

Show 37, the first show of series 4, is now online!

The episode kicks off with a quick look at everything (well, a lot of things) that’s happened in the world of Magic since DC was last on the netwaves. I then go into the subject of Magic 2010 (yes, I do talk about damage on the stack!), and finish with Duels of the Planeswalkers, Magic’s debut on the Xbox 360.

The DC Social Networking Empire is still around should you want to connect with DC in that way. Also, the old feedback address is back at show@deckconstruct.com, and your feedback would be muchly appreciated!
