DC 78 – Catchup, Scars from Zendikar, The Latest From Mirrodin

It’s September, the first Friday in fact, and DeckConstruct is back with show 78, the first of series 7! It’s good to be back!

This week’s show kicks off with the usual catchup of everything that happened since the last series ended in July. GP Columbus, the 2010 Nationals and a cool new podcast all get a look in.

Next is a look at some cards that I think might do well once Scars Standard kicks in.

Finally, I talk about some Scars spoilers that happened over the summer.

As always you can grab me via email on show@deckconstruct.com, or hop into the DC Forums. DC is also active on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Flickr.

Thanks for listening!

Welcome back, Alex! Was pleased to see this episode roll into my iPhone podcast listings. Although I’ll speak for the minority here, I’ve gotta say I really appreciate the SOM spoilers being more or less last in the show, since I’m trying to get to 01 OCT with as few cards spoiled as possible!

If you’re struggling to fill airtime next week, I’d be delighted if the contest for Ertai’s Lament got a mention. We’re having a great turnout and it’s a lot of fun!
