A long time ago, in a big box retailer in a place you have probably never heard of, a young browncoat (before he even realized he was a browncoat) found a 7th edition starter set to Magic: the Gathering. The [c]Thorn Elemental[/c] on the cover was a fiendish way to move product as it looks so awesome. The young browncoat bought the starter and a booster of Odyssey. He then started playing with his friends. He played casually until Lorwyn when he decided to quit to focus on the competitive tournament game he played: D&D Miniatures. Then D&D Mini' s released the 2.0 rule set and ruined the game. Then he decided to start playing more serious Magic with the addition of more income. Now he plays at tournaments when he is near one (living in the middle of nowhere makes getting to tournaments difficult). He usually makes decks that are completely crazy and nonsensical. Outside of MTG he is a Firefly fanboy (pretty obvious with the username) and an archaeology major in school. Why does he talk about himself in the third person? Who knows, he certainly does not. |
