Any kind of board would be nice to keep scores on. If there is an easy way that we can input the data. I plan on purchasing a ventrillo server for the DC crew to use. Is anyone else interested in using voice chat whilst playing magic with the DC people? I know I would prefer it over typing.

I can get a few buddies interested. It's explaining workstation and getting it set up on everyones computer that's going to be the pain in the butt. I sure hope most of you are semi-computer savvy.

Alright. So this is our little clan we have now?
List the people you know are joining and I will add them to the OP. But show the people the video's on how to install it. Took me a while to get it at first.
And if you need anymore help, ask me and I'll answer to the best of my ability.

And I think there's a thing within the system that gives you your win/loose rate thing. It's in the MWS Play thing though. Should be under the Show or Edit tab. Not sure since I'm not at my home computer right now.

Well I was thinking we would want to keep our scores exclusive to DC related games. Nothing outside of organized DC games. One I get home and get the vent kicked off, I'll post the information in an appropriate thread. Maybe start a new one about our MWS league. Might be a good idea to have a seperate thread to start it over the one discussing the possibility of using it. When the ventrilo is up, I will be avalible at times to assist with installs if someone needs the help.

It's possible to put together an installer that will install MWS, then install the cards. There are two problems, though. Firstly, the overall size would be massive. Secondly, there might be a copyright issue (the author of MWS hasn't touched the program in years, but at the same time it's not open source).

I suppose the alternative is to put together an easy to follow guide. It's not that hard to install MWS really, it just takes a while to do.

On the league script side of things, I think I'll have to grab a generic script and modify it. There's a "market" out there for an MTG league script, script developers! Smile

The thing is that it takes forever getting the database and cards working. Installing the program is easy peasy. But I was thinking about putting a torrent or a .rar file with a download for every picture up to ROE. But since that isn't out yet, I'm not sure. Like I said, the video's are the best way guide.

I like the idea of voice chat, and I would be interested in joining this league as well. I don't know how many UK players there are on DC, but hey, it should be fun.

Time differances will be a big issue for this. Or at least I imagine it will be.

I recommend that our events that are DC specific take place during Sunday. Does this work with you guys in the Eastern Europe part of the world? That way the guys over here get on in the morning, you guys get on in the evening, and most people are off of work.

That will work great for me, but I think as there are more american players on the site, they should have the priority, as times should be managed to the majority.

Exactly how many UK players are there, including me?

I'm kind of hoping Alex mentions this idea on the next show to see about getting some listeners involved that aren't forum goers. Then maybe a poll to see the general location of the players.

His instructions got me started, that video is a lot of help, but some of those links are already dead on my browser. The main site has the card data base with ROE in it and the engine to run it. To get the pictures in the game you have to use another site, download the files, and then manually place them in the games save location on your computer. If you need help wolf just post on here.
