Information New Format: Core Brawl
After several weeks of tweeking and work i've come up with a new format that takes you back to a simpler time of MTG, Core Brawl. The only restrictions: ONLY CARDS THAT WERE IN CORE SETS ARE PERMITTED. All others are banned. Normal play rules are used. The format is very simple and clean and would make a nice introduction for new players. Its caught on rather well with me and my friends and i thought i'd share.

"I go against the flow of everyone else. People turn to one tactic i turn to a different tactic. They turn to one card i turn to a different card. By staying different from everyone else no one knows what i'll have and i can surprize and most likely destroy my opponent from his lack of preparedness."

RE: New Format: Core Brawl
It's an interesting thought and would definitely be easier for people to learn the basics of magic through this format and without all the crazy combos that exist from cards in different sets.

Sort of like my main deck with it's infinite life, mana and damage combos. Magic has realy gone bezerk since the release of Zendikar.
