Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Im usually not the one to complain about this kind of thing, but its really starting to get on my nerves as of late, and i feel that it needs to be said.

The leage, while i enjoy every match i play in, the people that i play against are great people and great opponents, i really am starting to become rather disappointed with the turnout that is starting to occur. I know that this is a known issue, but there isnt a whole lot that i can do about it, as most people that i play with have jobs and have to get up for said jobs in the morning, and having the league on sunday nights (3am Monday morning here) really rules anyone that i play with down here out.

Im fully aware that this thread is probably in the wrong place, but this is the only place i could think to put this, so feel free to move it.

I guess what im saying is that if even our regulars start missing league events constantly, is it worth my time and worth screwing up my sleeping patterns every 2-3 weeks for this.

I really do hate posting these kinds of threads, but i really need to get this off my chest.

I am so sorry, I forgot that there was an event this morning. I am used to the pattern of once a month so completely forgot. Now I feel like a dick.

Sigh, time to start using a calendar again so I can keep track of what I have to do in my life.

Its fine dude, i was almost caught out this week, myself. Im still not sure if its worth my time, as much as i enjoy playing with everyone here.

Just sucks for me because i practically got home from an extended PTQ then go on to play more extended.

I wasn't in attendance Sunday because I was still at my buddy's house for his 21st birthday party. I was the designated driver Saturday night, so when we got back to his house he insisted I start drinking. I didn't make it home till well after the event. I would like to see some expansion in the league so when one or two people miss it's not a major thing but convincing people to play on MWS has been difficult for me. They don't want to learn the way of working it, and would rather use their MTGO accounts to play because the triggers make it easier. I think we need to have a recruitment period. Not really sure how to go about that.

I would like to join as I have said, but due to unexplainable drawbacks I will not have the resoures to join till the end of April or early May. I hope this problem can be worked out so everyone can have fun and play some Magic.

Glad that you will eventually be joining us Llama. I'd like to see a bigger turnout of new players and with the podcast coming back on the air perhaps we can get some more information out there with Alex at the helm. He has asked that other people speak on the show and I'm thinking about requesting a small part of time to talk about league related things to bring it into the light of everyone listening to the podcast.
