Autumn 2011 set: Innistrad
The next autumn set was just announced, it's called Innistrad.

To me, the artwork seems to suggest European horror. This might possibly be the set that Street Wraith and Patrician's Scorn were futureshifted from, or at least it seems that way to me.

Anyway, what do you think?

From that artwork it looks like Liliana will finally become relevant to the story, maybe Garruk will as well but that would be too convenient. And yeah I will agree on European horror as the theme as the art style resembles the Ravenloft art a lot (yay making broad generalizations about the set from one piece of art).

My question is what is the expansion symbol? It looks a bit like a jester's cap, that would make the set very interesting.

Someone (I forget who) on Twitter said the expansion symbol looks like the throne in the artwork. Maybe that throne is relevant to the story somehow.

Not to sure on how the story will be affected by this. Very interested in the idea that Liliana is getting more involved. It would be nice to see a new version of the original planes walkers that haven't seen a re-vision yet. Liliana and Garruk both could be remade into something new with new abilities and I'd be happy.

I'd love a new Lilliana...not so much for Garruk as green is a rare usage for me.
