rules question!
Ok ive read even the judges rule book but im still wondering something. Is there any thing against countering your own spells? I dont think there would be....
"I go against the flow of everyone else. People turn to one tactic i turn to a different tactic. They turn to one card i turn to a different card. By staying different from everyone else no one knows what i'll have and i can surprize and most likely destroy my opponent from his lack of preparedness." |

RE: rules question!
Well i play vintage a good bit and people like to swerve spells all the time. Also alot of my decks drag the game out forever and i like to have Ulamog in my deck as protection against milling and with all this draging out itd be nice to send ulamog to the graveyard to put all my used spells back into the library. Usaly doom blade would be the better option but of course Ulamog is indestructible.

RE: rules question!
would seem legitimate to counter your own spell then

RE: rules question!
Yeah it is a legal target on the stack so yes you can target your own spell. In fact some decks like spring tide want to do this with remand as you can put storm triggers on the stack and then bounce the spell back to your hand to recast with even more storm triggers.

RE: rules question!
hi, ive used that in the past, to increase my threshold count in graveyard, which let me win when i attacked with more powerful attack than they thought
![]() also cool to rack up the storm counts
