White Equipment

I've been doing some deck testing on MWS recently and I've come up with a versatile and very entertaining White Equipment deck.

4 Darksteel Myr

22 Plains

Several win conditions have emerged in my tests with this deck. The cheap equipment allows me to quickly equip Kemba and with the Kor Outfitter this can happen much quicker allowing me to start churning out tokens. Likewise, the Mystic allows me to bring more equipment to my hand. The Deathmantle is great for bringing Kemba back without interrupting the token generation. Thanks to the Archangel giving my artifacts shroud, the Cloaks were placed on itself and Kemba to ensure protection.

By itself, the Duelist presented itself as a formidable force as he could quickly be equipped with any of the artifacts provided the Outfitter was in my hand as well. Getting this guy pumped further with the Exoskeleton made for some fun moments.

Particularly amusing was the Darksteel Myr with any combination of the equipment. Working together the Collar and the Exoskeleton made things especially tough, even more so if the Pinions were thrown into the mix.

If this deck continues to work well in MWS I may get a physical copy for when Standard tournaments resume at the local game shop. Until then, does anyone have any suggestions? The main deck I feel is in good enough shape however I'm still unsure of what to put in my sideboard.

i like the look of it, but i like the very aggro white weenie that was in an article on the WOTC site the other week when scars came out.

long story short it was abusing 0 drops memnite and ornithopter to activate quest for the holy relic to bring out augentum armor turn 3/4

I had a chance to test my deck out the other day and I had mixed results. When it worked it worked wonderfully but most of the time I had mana problems and far too much equipment on the field. After some advice from my opponents and tweaking it myself I came up with the following list:

Possible Sideboard:
3 White Knight

The equipment list was reduced to the bear necessities. Indomitable Archangel was moved to the sideboard. Sunspear Shikari and Auriok Edgewright were added as they benefit from being equipped and metalcraft, respectively. Gold Myr was also added to help fix the mana issues. Darksteel Myr was completely removed as it had little use throughout all the games.

For the sideboard, White Knight is an excellent choice as you can use him to block black infect with no worries. Indomitable Archangel is for the anti-artifact decks. The shield, sword, and scythe would be interchangeable with other equipment to help cope with other aggro decks. Lastly the Leyline is a defense against mill decks and red decks relying on spells to whittle away my health.

Whoops, I didn't see you had posted while I was typing this one out. In the first iteration of this deck, before I posted it here, I had Quest for the Holy Relic added in. However at that time there was little in the way of creatures coming into play for it to be usable. I think I'll rework the deck again to include it now that I actually have quite a few creatures here.

your new list looks alot stronger and hopefully works better than the original one card you might want to think about if it would work in this white equipment deck would be the quest for the holy relic in the white weeenie on the WOTC article really is fast some one built it at my local store and when they had a quick game against me beat me in about 6 turns max and i dont think it had many equipment cards in it

I would suggest running more equipment that boost power, either trusty machete or darksteel axe also your running too much equipment in this deck. Stone forge allows you to tutor so when building this deck you should count him as an extra equipment in hand. When phyrexia comes out try to get some copys of puresteel palidin. He would really help this deck.
