NHL hockey

So I noticed that the twitter was showing some love for my favorite sport. Anyone else out there a Hockey fan?

St.Louis Blues is my team, being from St.Louis and all. And hey, were doing good this year.

I am not a huge fan of professional hockey though it is probably the only professional sport I enjoy (I prefer to actually play hockey though). I don't bother watching games on television but all the NHL games I have been to have been fun. Generally I cheer for the Hurricanes as my dad works for one of their sponsors so gets discounts on their tickets. Occasionally I cheer for the Sabres as by cousin lived in Buffalo. That said the game between the two that I saw was pretty sweet.

Living in Chicago I have a slight tendency to cheer for the Blackhawks. NHL games are a blast to go to.

The only word for hockey with me is rabid. Avalanche country around here

Ha ha Rich. I was at the game friday here between your hawks and us. I love going to Chicago Versus St.Louis games. There are always big crowds from both sides and the games feel more spirited. Fans are more into the game because of how many fans are from the other team. I had a blast. We won, which is awesome, but I could see that game as being tons of fun even if we hadn't.

That's true. With games like that it doesn't matter who wins. Just the atmosphere makes it all worth it. Unless we're playing Detroit, then only victory is acceptable lol.

The Twitter probably shows that I'm a bit of a Penguins fan. OK, more than just a bit.

Also, although I'm not a fan, I don't mind watching the Leafs if the Pens aren't playing. Actually, I just love watching (and playing) hockey, except for the Flyers. That's like a Spurs fan enjoying an Arsenal football match that isn't vs Spurs.
