Semblance Anvil and Prototype Portal
I was working on an artifacts deck earlier today and I have a question concerning Semblance Anvil and Prototype Portal. In the manner I'll be using it, the Anvils ability will reduce the cost of my artifacts by two. For the purposes of the Portal's ability, does it consider the cards converted mana cost to be reduced by two?

No it Doesn't

Converted Mana cost is still 3

The concept of this answer is right though the understanding of the question is wrong. Semblance anvil lowers the casting cost not the converted mana cost so Prototype portal is not limited if it is imprinted with a card that shares a type with the imprinted card on semblance anvil.

RE: Semblance Anvil and Prototype Portal
Yeah, I should have been clearer. The anvil would already be in play when I cast the Portal which I would then imprint with some other artifact. Ah well, thanks anyway.
