MTG app for the iPad
Hey Guys, I don't mean to spam but I noticed your article here http://www.deckconstruct.com/mtg-tools/m...-touchipad on apps for iOS and thought I would add a new one.
The app can be found here: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSto...64621&mt=8 I am actually the developer, so feel free to send me questions/comments. Again, sorry for the spam. Hopefully these free promo codes can help make up for it: YAWXWF4RRMHN 7XL7NA7WNEF3 NJK3A7HFYP7R HRLLRE79YJ9J WTWXNNMXRXLY |

RE: MTG app for the iPad
Hi Zenox. Welcome to the forums!
There are far worse things you could've posted than a link to a new MTG iPad app! The app looks really good too; I wish I could try it, but I don't have an iPad. I'm sure those codes will go quickly. Thanks for posting! |

RE: MTG app for the iPad
Trying it on my ipad right now. It looks great but seems to be lacking rotation.. Oh and a search feature by Manna type / Converted Manna Cost ect...
Oh and I will be sure to show it off at FNM... |

RE: MTG app for the iPad
Hey AppleIIGuy,
I'm not sure what you mean by 'lacking rotation'? (Its been a couple of years since I have played much so maybe its something new i'm missing?). I'dd add a converted mana cost to my todo list. |

RE: MTG app for the iPad
FYI incase anyone is interested in what I plan to add to this app, here is my current list (not nessiarly in order):
Major Updates: 1. Official Rules - From the Wizards of the Coast website. I would like to have them there so even if you are offline, a copy is available. 2. Automatic Price Caching - Minimum of monthly updates for prices, best case weekly. This way if you are offline, prices are still avaialble and up to date. 3. Life & Token tracker - A simple way to keep track of life counter and any tokens in play. 4. Deck Building - This is what I am looking forward to the most, but will probably also be the hardest. Best case is I find a website to partner with that will sync your decks to and from. Minor Updates: 1. Additions to search. 2. Auto caching card images in the background. (There is a version of this in place but it only does the caching as a card is requested). If anyone has any ideas that you would like to see, please let me know. |

RE: MTG app for the iPad
Sounds great Zenox. Makes me regret not owning the device to test/use said application. If you get a chance or alex if you do, maybe a video demonstrating the application for the youtube channel?

I'll see if I can't get a video ready for early next week or a bit later (my video edit skills are not the best so it may take a bit longer

RE: MTG app for the iPad
Unfortunately my app has been removed from the app store due to copyright infringements
. I am going to be in discussions with Wizards of the Coast to see if this can be resolved.
