Favorite cards in M11?

Thought I'd revive the forums.
So what are your guys' favorite cards from the M11 set?

Serra Ascendant!! I've got an awesome life gain deck that really thrives on them

I really like a few, but probably the Sun titan. I think the new set is great, its made some older cards really good again like Gather Specimens. Nothing more enjoyable than stealing a big fattie with it.

I'm really liking Traumatize. I haven't had a chance to play test it yet, but I'm in the middle of making a blue mill deck that has some very interesting prospects.

I like Phylactery Lich and I'm sure that I can see a few decks being played with him as their core.

Agreed -- Phylactery Lich's ability completely matches the flavor of what such a necromancer would do. And scars of Mirrodin's supposed to be an artifact set, right?

Well, i personally really like Demon of Death's gate, anything with an alternate cost wins in my book though. Also, its nice to see Mana Leak come back, blue needed a good counter, and deprive isnt really good enough in my opinion.

IIRC, Demon of Death's gate was pack one pick one of last week's booster draft simulator, and I didn't see many people pick it. Both the regular and alternate casting costs seem too high.

But Mana Leak is fun times!

After this weekend I'm going with Sword of Vegence for most annoying board presence. Browncoat proved over the games sunday that this weapon isn't one to be taken lightly. It will eat your life quickly.
