My New Casual Deck
Lands
4x Barren Moor 20x Swamp Creatures 4x Carrion Feeder 4x Festering Goblin 4x Crypt Creeper 4x Nantuko Husk 4x Vengeful Dead 2x Viscera Dragger 2x Noxious Ghoul Other Spells 2x Morgue Theft 4x Doom Blade 2x Oni Possession 2x Tombstone Stairwell 2x Diabolic Tutor My main plan is the interaction between Vengeful Dead, and Tombstone Stairwell. I am considering replacing the 4 Crypt Creepers with 4 Blood Seekers. I am definitely replacing the 2 Viscera Draggers with 2 Gempalm Polluters. Also the 2 Oni Possessions may be replaced by 2 Hissing Miasmas. If this deck turns out good, it may be Legacy worthy, but more than likely not. Does anyone have any suggestions for cards? If you think there are better cards that can replace the function of some of mine, please tell me. Thanks |

RE: My New Casual Deck
I personally like Graveborn Muse. Rotlung Reanimator is another amusing card. Shepherd of Rot could also fit. Call to the grave may also have a place. Also unholy grotto could help recycle those zombies. Also I highly reccomend putting the gempalms into the deck.

I would place call to the grave, and unholy grotto in my deck, but I can not justify spending so much on just cardboard. By the way, we have the same birthday according to the calendar system on here. |

RE: My New Casual Deck
I will apologize for the price (the most I have spent for a single is $1.50 for a gravetroll). Most of the cards I could think of of the top of my head you already had or had mentioned. The other card was graveborn muse which I knew was a dollar rare as I had looked it up recently when reorganizing my rare binder. The other suggestions came from a decklist from onslaught standard that was from inquest gamer. I assumed that most of the rares would be cheap as legacy (the only format they are legal and playable in) lacks a competitive tribal zombie deck (to my knowledge). I will post the inquest list for reference:
4 carrion feeder 4 festering goblin 4 gempalm polluter 4 putrid raptor (a card you should look into, very cheap and powerful) 4 rotlung reanimator 4 shepherd of rot (another cheap card that fits your strategy) 4 withered wretch 2 call to the grave 3 cruel revival 4 barren moor 16 swamp 4 unholy grotto And with the birthdays you are still a year older but don't count on getting any more respect from me as an "elder". |

I will post the inquest list for reference: Withered wench seems promising. It fulfills crypt creeper's current role because it can effectively decimate an opponent's graveyard. I already own one cruel revival, and am going to get more. Also feeding frenzy is another good choice. I have played four 1v1 matches to test my deck. Match #1: I faced Planeshift's Domain deck which had some modifications. I won even Sliver Overlord made it onto the board. Match #2: I faced a mono-green aggro deck with 2 Nacatl Warprides. I lost when my opponent managed a turn 3 Garruk and then a few turns down played Howl of the Nightpack. Match #3: I faced a heavily modified White/Black Orzhov bleed deck. I couldn't kill any creatures because they all had black mana symbols. I lost when I swung with a 11/11 Nantuko Husk which had Oni Possession on it. His Souls of the Faultless finished me. Match #4: I faced a mono red aggro deck with plenty of burn. Noxious Ghoul's ability won me the game by removing all of the cheap 1/1 blockers. I realized Tombstone Stairwell never helped me out a bit. I am going to keep it in because i haven't played in a 4 player match yet. You may have to call me an "elder" because it seems we are the only two who keep the forum active. |

However, none really fit me. I have known about the card Grave Pact for awhile, but at around 3-4 dollars a card is a little much for me. I have found Call to the Grave for 1.50 but they company is sold out. If they get more in stock I will pick up 2. Thanks for the Help |
