Hmm, that's a tough one for me.
Okay, maybe not. It's probably
Bladewing the Risen, which was the focus for the first deck I ever built and remains, to this day, one of the most fun decks I have to play in casual, if not exactly the most fun for my opponent.
Cunning Spark mage =DDD It is just great to me.
I have to say the more I play with Jace, the mindsculptor the more its becoming my favourite card.
Although, Gideon has won me a game after jace going ultimate. So he's up there as well.
Rhys the Redeemed . Token madness alsways ensues with Rhys around.
Hmmm, for me, it's a toss up between a lot of cards, but i suppose if i had to choose, it would have to be Skullclamp, simply because of its brokenness.

Burning Wish. Instant adaption to a situation.
Also Research/Devlopment is cool too. I have a deck with 4 copies of both in it.

I totally agree with that about the wish, im in the process of getting my playset for Legacy.

Favorite standard legal card: Ulamog. Playing that is like telling your opponent to F off. And ive found ways to get him in on turn 4-5.
HI all, as a newbie I think this is a great thread to start in. First of all great choices so far, though Im not familiar with all of them. My favorite cards is of course sol ring ;-) and mana drain. I guess Im a pretty mana oriented person...Im surprised nobody has mentioned black lotus yet because I heard from a friend that thats supposed to be the most expensive card out there.?
Yea Black Lotus is definatly the most expensive MTG card out there. Even a heavily played one will run you a MINIMUM 800$.
Gradually my favorite cards are shifting. I still have a lot of love for Raging Goblin for his flavor text. The card I can't seem to get away from these days is
Sun Titan. I've found him useful in so many decks. It's ridiculous what you can do with a little recursion.
Tough question, I suppose if i had to pick one it would be quasali pridemage. For two mana he can beat for three or be used as artifact/enchantment removal. He got me out of many sticky situations.
