I'm often worried about getting things wrong in the podcast, because I know some judges actually listen to it and probably facepalm every time I mention something like this.

You're right, though. You can't sac an artifact then regen it with Welding Jar. I like the addition of the Jars to JC's deck. A lot of Affinity decks don't use it and it makes Affinity a bit more painful to play against in Legacy.
