What are your thoughts on the deck? Ever since I saw it I've wanted to make it and I'm finally finished. Here is mine

4 Glint Hawk
4 Kor Skyfisher
4 Squadron Hawk
4 Memnite
4 Ornithopter
3 Stoneforge Mystic
2 Argentum Armor
4 Kor Duelist
2 Nim Death Mantal
4 Quest for the Holy Relic
1 Sword of Body and Mind
1 Strata Scyth
1 Sword of Vengence
2 Journey to Nowhere

I don't currently have Kor Outfitters but I'm thinking of adding them. The sideboard conatins a ton of removal like Brittle Effigy and Condems and more Journeys. The Death Mantals are to survive doomblade as well as Day of Judgment, I'm thinking of taking out 1 and putting in something else but that's just a maybe. Also, if I have a Kor Duelist with Sword of Body and Mind on him, does the Swords ability trigger twice since he's double striking? Thanks.
Hi Bramoman,

I think you could probably take out the Nim Deathmantles. A deck like this wants a more proactive answer to removal - consider that instead of deploying the Deathmantle to protect your best guy, you could instead play a bigger, better guy Smile After all, 4 mana can get you some extremely good creatures these days. My first suggestion though would be to finish off your set of Journey to Nowhere.

To answer your question, the Sword of Body and Mind will trigger every time he does combat damage, and double strike makes him do damage twice. So yes Smile I would consider cutting Strata Scythe and Sword of Vengeance as well. By cutting down some of the equipment, you can streamline the deck by adding more creatures both for Quest and to equip. Kor Outfitter can find room in their place to make sure your Argentum Armor can actually re-equip if necessary.

FWIW, I really like Squadron Hawk! I wish this deck could find a way to play Honor of the Pure, but the 0-drops make that really difficult.
I personally agree with most things said above, except for one thing, i would keep Sword of Vengeance in the deck, because its a very solid equipment in itself, and if you only have a couple of copys it shouldnt slow you down too much. As for a good 4-drop, why not try Emeria Angel, maybe add 2-3 copies, seeing as they make lots of dudes for you to ewuip.

Theres my 2 cents, i really love how these decks work, and am looking to make my own soon.

I've found that the Strata Scyth can be INSANE on the Kor Duelist, and if I don't have a lot of lands in a game then I don't search it with my Mystics. I feel like I need more protection from creature removal, one Day and I can't really re equip until turn 6.
Here is my Take on Quest deck I am making.
