Hey guys, new to the DC forum.
Had a idea for a death magic deck. Hopefully this is legal. I'm pretty new to mtg so I bet there are other cards that would work good in this deck that I haven't seen. Please give me your suggestions. And one more question about Death Magic, ban list? The one in Legacy? Well anyways here's the deck.
I was thinking run a Dark Confidant, and Dark Tutelage and a bunch of Fatties (Emrakul for one). Also cards like Liliana Vess and D Ritual for speed. Maybe blue for Jace so you can put the fatties on top if you draw them. [/size]

firstly welcome to the forums.
if by "death magic" you mean playing blacks spells then you'd be lookin at buildin a mono black vampires deck (vampires being the popular choice of black cards recently) lilliana vess would be a good card to put in almost all decks that run black in them as well

I mean the format Alex talked about a while back, in the Summer probably. In the format, the goal is to get ur life to 0 the fastest, without any instant win combos like wall of blood or the ts pacts or ad nauseum for ex.
you are probably looking at using alot of cards with lifelink and then spells to pumps your lifelinked attackers

why would i use cards with lifelink? they would just hurt me?

lifelink give you life equal to the power of your creature for example
Wurmcoil Engine from Scars Of Mirrordin is a 6/6 with deathtouch and lifelink. deathtouch will kill you opponents attacker/blocker that you are either blocking or are being blocked by and you gain 6 life from life link

i dont think he has recently but you could always send a request to show@deckconstruct.com for a podcast on deathmagic
if the goal is to loose first you should play volcano hellion and just take yourself down to 0 life
