It occurred to me that I never posted in this thread, even though I've been here for a couple of months!
So, let's see; my name is Matt and I'm from Tucson, AZ, in the US. I started playing Magic around Onslaught block (I think Legion had just been released) and my first deck was an Elf Tribe that my friend helped me build (he also taught me how to play). I played pretty casually up until Ravnica, then fell off the wagon for a couple of years. I came back into the game only recently as a result of playing Duels of the Planeswalkers on the Xbox Live Arcade, which resparked my interest and made me jump back into the game. Soon after, I started listening to Deck Construct during my commute to work, and I was quickly propelled to international fame and worldwild recognition when Alex featured my deck list on a show! I've been dodging fans and signing autographs ever since (okay, not really, but some guys at my local card shop recognized my name which was awesome!)
My favorite color to play is red, although lately, blue has been catching my interest as well. As indicated by (well, just about everything I've ever posted), playing dragons is my affinity, since they're my main focus and inspiration as a fan of the fantasy genre as a whole, and the reason I first started playing Magic in the first place (the idea of being a "dragon-mage" was what sold me on the game originally.)
